Julie McKown is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She started her career working in Inpatient Psychiatry at Shoal Creek Hospital in Austin, TX where she worked with individuals dealing with a wide variety of psychiatric diagnoses. Julie then went on to work with adolescents in a Residential Treatment Center in Dallas, TX who were dealing with substance abuse and other mental health challenges. Julie also has specific experience working with individuals that were challenged with eating disorders.
